Liz and Co., were a pleasure to deal with and I am looking forward to working with the New York team again on our next trip. I think I mentioned to Liz about a year ago that my birthday would happen during this trip…well that turned into every person in Scotland wishing me a Happy Birthday and the most memorable birthday ever. Thank you for everything Liz, it all ran so smoothly.

Our driver, Dean was a great guy and went out of his way to be helpful – he always had the bus well stocked and was very knowledgeable about the local history and surroundings. He also has a great sense of humor which fitted very well with our crazy group.

The golf was spectacular and my favorite round of golf EVER was St. Andrews Old Course. Carnoustie was great fun, especially with The Open being held there last year. Kingsbarns and The Castle Course were both excellent and Royal Aberdeen proved to be a second favorite for us all – hard, but incredible fun. Trump’s International was the most visually stunning, but the facilities seemed to be lacking somewhat in organization, Murcar however was a wonderful surprise and pure delight with a staff that could not have been friendlier nor more welcoming. The combination of Murcar and Royal Aberdeen (sitting literally next door to each other) made for a perfect 36-hole day.

Our round at The Old Course was the highlight… between the beautiful weather, great caddies, and quality golf. A birdie-birdie finish for 76 helps too! I also have to mention that it seemed everywhere we went we were always expected. What I mean by that is everything was taken care of and that made things very easy and enjoyable for the group and me. We didn’t have to worry about anything… just make sure you’re at the coach on time and everything else took care of itself. Zero stress… just fun!
