The staff in New York who handled our arrangements were excellent, as was their Golf Manager in St. Andrews.
The Fairmont, St. Andrews is a modern hotel, very convenient with a shuttle service to and from town. There are beautiful grounds and every imaginable convenience…restaurants, bars, views and oversized bathrooms…what more could ya want? …and a golf course!
All the golf courses were consistently outstanding…The Fairmont, Torrance Course was top-notch; Kingsbarns was great if not fantastic; St. Andrews, Castle Course was very difficult; Carnoustie Championship Course maybe the best course ever; St. Andrews, Jubilee Course was thoroughly enjoyable and The Old Course was loved by all.
