San Lorenzo Golf Course has long established a reputation for quality and challenge and has been ranked among Europe’s top 50 courses by Golf World magazine. This extremely attractive track runs through a wide variety of scenic locations, alternating between beachside, lakeside and woodland . The early holes follow an undulating path over through a small pine forest before circumventing a large lake, then on to the Ria Formosa and the beachfront.

San Lorenzo Golf Course presents practically every difficulty in the book, from trees, shrewd bunkering, both fairway and greenside, to water hazards galore. There’s a serene tranquility to this course and the beauty of the surroundings seems to bring out the very best in every player. The course is kept in excellent condition and presents a fair though very challenging test of golf.
