Tuesday, July 14
Golfers: Play Nairn Championship – This links championship course with its gorse and whin-lined fairways provides a testing challenge for golfers of all abilities. Inaugurated in 1899 as a 9 hole course it was extended in 1924 to its current championship layout.

Non-Golfers: Take a 2 hour cruise down Loch Ness and visit Urquhart Castle magnificently sited on a rocky promontory on the north shore of Loch Ness, the Castle is one of the largest in Scotland with a long and colourful history. For Loch Ness Monster enthusiasts Nessie has evidently been sighted from a place close to the Castle.

Wednesday, July 15
Golfers: Play Royal Dornoch – One of the great natural links courses in the world. According to Herbert Warren Wind, “a thoroughly modern old links with that rare equipoise of charm and character that only great courses possess”. There is plenty of room off the tee but where to place your drive depends on the wind and the pin positions. If you think out your shot, you will be rewarded.

Non-Golfers: Visit Dunrobin Castle a glowing white stone Castle overlooking the sea and the home of the Earl of Sutherland, Dunrobin can truly be described as one of the Great Houses of Scotland.

Golfers and Non-Golfers: Tour of Glenmorangie Distillery – experience one of the best distillery tours in Scotland at this picturesque distillery and sample a dram of Glenmorangie Single Highland Malt Whisky

Friday, July 17
Golfers: Play Gleneagles PGA Centenary Course – 2014 Ryder Cup Venue. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the course is the longest inland course in Scotland. However the tees are graded at each hole in five stages, including a monstrous 7,081 yards from the back tees to the challenging 6,551 yards from the white markers all the way down to 5,065 from the red. Nicklaus has done an excellent job of mixing the modern with the traditional to create a new Scottish classic.

Non-Golfers: Visit Stirling Castle, considered Scotland’s grandest and one of its most important. The outstanding Renaissance architecture, the finest in Scotland, is highlighted in the Grand Hall and Chapel Royal. Mary Queen of Scots was crowned here and narrowly escaped death by fire in 1561. Also well worth visiting is The Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum, and the Old Town Jail.

Golfers & Non-Golfers: Whisky Distillery Tour (Famous Grouse Experience) at Glenturret Distillery, the oldest whisky distillery in Scotland.

Saturday, July 18
Transfer to St. Andrews, home of golf and the 2015 British Open, to witness the third round of the Open Championship returning to Edinburgh after the close of play.

Sunday, July 19
Transfer to St. Andrews, for the exciting final round of the 2015 British Open
Return to the hotel 30 minutes following the awards ceremony
