Formerly known as Stoke Poges, this course is considered one of the finest parkland course in England and possibly one of Harry Colt’s most cleverly designed masterpieces. The course has seen many impressive rounds in its prestigious history, including the first PGA Matchplay tournament in 1910 and James Bond’s epic golfing duel in the 1964 classic 007 movie ‘Goldfinger’. First be thrilled by the golf then be entranced by one of the most spectacular club houses in the world of golf, a magnificent mansion, built by the Penn family (of Pennsylvania fame) in 1775. A very special experience.
